Archimaze conducted a two-days workshop on Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality using Unity3D on 10th and 11th of August 2018.
There were 89 students who attended the workshop along with few of their faculty members. The students built their own “Graphic card” AR application on the first day and “Travel anywhere” VR application on the second day. There were interactive sessions for an hour on each day for the students to clarify doubts if there were any. All the students have experienced the Ultimate Virtual Reality in the ‘Oculus Rift’ which was the highlight. Students had an “Ice-Breaker” session in the end where they had an opportunity to interact with the trainer and the team regarding their plans in future on these new technologies. There were quite a few students who have attended the Ice-Breaker session at the end and out of all, 8 students who whose line of thought and plans for the future were different to those of others, have taken the 24-days course on Unity3D in Archimaze and are currently pursuing it.
The speaker for both the days was ‘Neha Tiwari’ who worked as a trainer and an AR and VR developer for Archimaze. She had also worked as Network administrator for Google before she was associated with Archimaze.
